Hi, I am Wendy and I am Fortunes Faze. I never really like to talk about myself, because I would rather my work speak for itself. Fortunes Faze is the name I chose to be my artist’s name that I release music under.
I was born and raised in northwest Ohio, USA. For many years I have been an accomplished stained-glass artist and also enjoyed writing. I am one of those individuals that can spend long periods of time alone and it is during those times I can be very creative. That is where I find my peace. Something hit me one day that I should put some of my writings to music and then suddenly I became a songwriter. I use computerization to create voices and music.
Now for those of you who frown upon AI or computerization aiding musicians, computers and synthesizers have been helping artists for decades. This is just an extension of that. I am not pretending to be someone I am not. I am not much of singer, nor am I proficient with musical instruments. I love music and I know what I like and that is what I produce. I am a songwriter using the tools available to me to put my songs out into the World. My hopes are that maybe someday some artists will like them enough to cover them or possibly some people would like to come together to create a Fortunes Faze performance band.
Currently I am producing my own albums and working with a distributor that submits all my music to the major music streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Deezer, Amazon Music, and also YouTube Music. I have an artist’s channel on YouTube as well where I have put some music videos. My music is also distributed to iHeartradio stations.
